Hello and Welcome

The Crown Tavern is a long-established, traditional pub in the heart of Lanark. Amidst the changing landscape of bars and restaurants within the town, we are proud to have maintained the Crowns unique charm and reputation as a much-loved social venue. While we are a favourite hub for our regular visitors, families with young children are most welcome as are our waggy tailed friends. We promote hearty, homemade meals and a comfortable laid back vibe where you can relax for as long as you wish.

Monday to Thursday:

11:30 – 15:00

(last food order @ 13:45)

17:00 – 22:30

(last food order @ 20:45)

Friday & Saturday

11:30 – midnight

(last food order @ 21:00)

Sunday:

12:30 – 22:00

(last food order @ 20:00)

Good To Know

Please be aware that our advertised opening hours may change, at short notice, allow us to meet operational demands … to avoid disappointment, please check with our staff when you visit. Usually, our bar is open all day on Friday and weekday restaurant hours apply. On Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant and bar remain open all day with last food orders at 21:00 on Saturday and 20:00 on Sunday.

On quieter days we will probably close earlier than the times specified.

Additionally, we usually state that if you would like to visit for a meal, you are more than welcome to simply drop by. However, to avoid any disappointment, we recommend that you call to make a reservation, especially if you require a weekend booking.

In town visiting. Friends recommended we visit. Traditional pub. Super Friendly, attentive staff. Good menu. Delicious Pies. Big Screen TV.
